An expansion and renovation to the Basketball Training Facility at Coleman Coliseum is underway as part of Phase II of The Crimson Standard and is set to be completed in the spring of 2026. The current facility will undergo a renovation of over 19,000 square feet to provide the women's team with dedicated practice space. The project will consist of almost 49,000 square feet of new space creating a new practice facility and weight room for the men's team and space for player development areas for both teams, including a lobby, locker rooms, lounges, film rooms, equipment room, and sports medicine spaces.

The Basketball Training Facility is pivotal to the success of our basketball programs and necessary for our student-athletes for proper training and development as well as for our coaches to continue to recruit top talent. The Competition Arena is still on the horizon. We are working diligently to navigate the current landscape of college athletics to be able to move forward with the Arena that will provide a superb gameday experience for our fans.
